E500 is suited for high-risk clients, including those requiring treatment up to Stage 3–4 pressure injuries. It is ideal when consistent alternating therapy is required, but comfort and surface stability remain a priority.
E500 is selected when dynamic therapy is required as a standard level of care. While E400 offers hybrid flexibility and can be used with or without a pump, E500 is designed to operate with a pump at all times, delivering continuous alternating air support. When paired with the EP20AU pump, features such as Elata TiltSense™, variable comfort settings, and advanced pressure adjustment provide greater automation and control. E500 is suited to higher-risk patients who require consistent dynamic therapy with enhanced responsiveness and clinical oversight.
