Enable Lifecare may request reasonable evidence that an attendee meets these eligibility requirements.

Registrations and ticket purchases for APCS26 are processed through the Enable Lifecare mobile app or desktop app (https://app.enablelifecare.com.au/). A seat is confirmed, and the contract is formed, when registration and payment are completed and Enable Lifecare issues a confirmation through the app or by email.

Enable Lifecare is the seller of APCS26 tickets. Payments are processed on Enable Lifecare's behalf by Stripe. Enable Lifecare does not receive or store complete payment-card details.

Payment methods displayed at checkout are subject to availability and to any terms imposed by the attendee's card issuer, bank or digital-wallet provider. Stripe's merchant terms govern the relationship between Stripe and Enable Lifecare and do not replace these Event Terms.

Attendees must provide accurate registration details, including their name and email address and, where applicable, organisation, role, accessibility or dietary information.

Enable Lifecare may refuse, cancel or amend a registration where the attendee does not meet or cannot reasonably demonstrate the eligibility requirements, or where there is a pricing or registration error, duplicate booking, failed or reversed payment, suspected fraud or misuse, or a material breach of these Terms. If Enable Lifecare cancels a registration for a reason not caused by the attendee's breach, fraud or misuse, the amount paid will be refunded.

Tickets may not be resold or used for promotional competitions without prior written approval from Enable Lifecare.

4. Refunds and cancellations

Tickets for the Australian Pressure Care Summit 2026 / APCS26 are refundable in line with Australian Consumer Law and these Terms and Conditions.

A full refund of the ticket price and any unavoidable fees paid to Enable Lifecare will be provided where the event is cancelled by Enable Lifecare and not rescheduled, or where there is a material change and the attendee does not accept the changed arrangements. A material change may include a change of date, change of city, conversion from an in-person to an online event, or a substantial reduction in the advertised educational program.

Refunds are not generally provided for change of mind, non-attendance, personal scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or inability to attend for reasons outside Enable Lifecare's control, unless required by Australian Consumer Law. Consumer rights cannot be removed by a business's terms and conditions.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to Enable Lifecare using the contact details in section 19. Each request will be reviewed in line with Australian Consumer Law and the circumstances of the request.

Where a refund is payable, Enable Lifecare will initiate it to the original payment method where reasonably practicable and within 10 business days after the refund is confirmed. Stripe or other processing costs incurred by Enable Lifecare will not be deducted from a refund required under these Terms or by law.

5. Event changes

Enable Lifecare may make reasonable changes to the event program if required. This may include changes to speakers, agenda, session content, session order, timing, room allocation, or event delivery details.

A minor program change, speaker substitution, or session order change does not automatically entitle an attendee to a refund.

If the event is postponed, attendees may choose to transfer their ticket to the new date or request a full refund if the new date is unsuitable.

If the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, attendees will receive a full refund in accordance with section 4.

Enable Lifecare is not responsible for travel, accommodation, parking, lost income, or other personal costs incurred by attendees, except where required by law.

6. Ticket transfers

If an attendee can no longer attend, they may request to transfer their ticket to another attendee.

Transfer requests must be made in writing before the event.

Enable Lifecare may decline a transfer request where it is incomplete, cannot reasonably be processed before the event, or involves suspected misuse or resale. The replacement attendee must meet the eligibility requirements in section 3, provide the required registration information and agree to these Terms.

Approved ticket transfers do not create a right to a refund.

7. Attendance and conduct

Attendees must behave respectfully and professionally during the event.

Enable Lifecare may, on reasonable grounds, refuse entry or remove an attendee whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, unlawful, or otherwise constitutes a serious or material breach of these Terms.

No refund will be provided where an attendee is reasonably refused entry or removed for a serious or material breach of these Terms.

Attendees must follow all reasonable venue, safety, security and event team directions.

8. Continuing professional development and certificates

APCS26 is limited to the eligible attendees described in section 3 and provides up to five hours of interactive educational activity.

Health practitioners registered through AHPRA may record relevant educational hours as continuing professional development, subject to the requirements of their applicable National Board and individual scope of practice.

Registered health practitioners are responsible for determining whether and how the activity may be counted towards their applicable CPD requirements.

A Certificate of Attendance will be available only to health practitioners who hold current AHPRA registration and students who are currently enrolled in an Australian healthcare course and hold a valid USI. Enable Lifecare may request reasonable evidence of eligibility before issuing a certificate.

The Certificate of Attendance will state the attendee's verified educational hours. APCS26 is not accredited, endorsed or approved by AHPRA or any National Board unless Enable Lifecare expressly states otherwise in writing.

9. Event content

The event is designed for general clinical education and professional development.

Information shared at the event is not intended to replace clinical judgement, professional advice, patient-specific assessment, workplace policy, or applicable clinical guidelines.

Attendees remain responsible for how they apply any information in practice.

Views expressed by individual speakers are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Enable Lifecare, Elata®, or any sponsor, unless expressly stated.

10. Photography, video and media

Photography, filming and recording may take place during the event for marketing, education, social media, internal communication and promotional purposes.

By attending, you acknowledge that you may be incidentally included in general crowd or event footage. Enable Lifecare will seek separate consent before using an attendee as the featured subject of an interview, testimonial or promotional recording.

If you do not wish to appear in general photographs or video, please notify the event team before the event or on arrival. Enable Lifecare will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, although complete exclusion from incidental crowd footage cannot be guaranteed.

Attendees must not record speakers, presentations, slides, exhibitors, event content, or other attendees without prior written approval from Enable Lifecare.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected during registration will be used to manage event registration, ticketing, attendance, communications, CPD administration, dietary and accessibility requirements, and related event follow-up.

If Enable Lifecare requests or collects a USI or other eligibility evidence, it will be used only to assess registration eligibility or certificate entitlement, access will be limited to authorised personnel, and it will be securely deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably required, subject to applicable law.

Accessibility and dietary information may include sensitive information. Where this information is requested, Enable Lifecare will obtain appropriate consent and use and disclose only the information reasonably necessary to arrange the requested support, catering or venue services.

Operational event communications are part of administering the registration. Enable Lifecare will use registration details for marketing about Elata®, future education events, pressure care resources or other products and services only where the attendee has separately consented or where otherwise permitted by law. Attendees may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Personal information may be shared with service providers where reasonably necessary to deliver the event, including Stripe, the venue, catering providers, event technology providers and email communication platforms. Enable Lifecare will not provide attendee details to sponsors or exhibitors for their own marketing without separate consent.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Enable Lifecare's Privacy & Cookie Policy at https://enablelifecare.com.au/pages/privacy-cookie-policy.

12. Accessibility and dietary requirements

Attendees should advise Enable Lifecare of any accessibility, mobility, or dietary requirements during registration or as soon as possible before the event.

Enable Lifecare will make reasonable adjustments for attendees with disability as required by law, subject to any applicable exception, including unjustifiable hardship.

Late requests may be affected by venue or catering deadlines, but a late request does not remove any rights the attendee has under applicable law.

13. Speakers, sponsors and exhibitors

Advertised speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and partners are correct at the time of publication.

Enable Lifecare reserves the right to change speakers, topics, timings, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, or session format if required.

A speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, or program change does not automatically entitle an attendee to a refund.

14. Intellectual property

All event materials, including slides, handouts, videos, recordings, documents, branding, graphics, session materials and digital resources, remain the property of Enable Lifecare, Elata®, the relevant speaker, or the relevant rights holder.

Except as permitted by law, attendees must not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, record, sell, modify, upload, or share event materials without prior written approval.

Attendees may use event materials for their own personal learning and CPD records, unless stated otherwise.

15. Health, safety and venue requirements

Attendees must comply with all venue rules and any reasonable health, safety, emergency, accessibility, security, or operational directions given by Enable Lifecare, the venue, or event staff.

Enable Lifecare may make reasonable changes to event operations to support attendee safety or comply with venue, public health, government, or legal requirements.

16. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Enable Lifecare is not liable for loss caused by an attendee's own act or omission or for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. This clause does not exclude or restrict liability for Enable Lifecare's negligence, personal injury, breach of statutory duty, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Attendees are responsible for their own travel, parking, accommodation, belongings, technology, insurance, and personal arrangements.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

17. Force majeure

Enable Lifecare may reasonably change, postpone or cancel the event where an event outside its reasonable control prevents or materially affects delivery of APCS26.

This may include extreme weather, natural disaster, venue issues, public health restrictions, government directions, transport disruption, industrial action, speaker illness, technical issues, power failure, security concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.

If APCS26 is cancelled and not rescheduled, attendees will receive a full refund in accordance with section 4. If it is postponed, attendees may choose to transfer their ticket or request a full refund if the new date is unsuitable.

Where an event outside Enable Lifecare's reasonable control affects the event, Enable Lifecare will act reasonably and in line with Australian Consumer Law.

18. Communications

Event communications will be sent to the email address provided during registration.

Attendees are responsible for checking event updates, including timing, location, arrival instructions, CPD information, and any program changes.

Enable Lifecare is not responsible if an attendee misses important information because incorrect contact details were supplied or event communications were not checked, provided Enable Lifecare took reasonable steps to send the information.

20. General

These Terms are governed by the laws applying in Queensland, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and courts entitled to hear appeals from them. Nothing in this clause limits any right a consumer has to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction available by law.

If any part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, that part will be read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining Terms.

Enable Lifecare may update these Terms for future registrations. Terms applying to a completed purchase will not be changed retrospectively in a way that materially disadvantages the attendee, except where required by law.

If these Terms are inconsistent with a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, the non-excludable right or remedy prevails.
