Oska® Alto - Series3-V4
OSKA ALTO, Series3-V4, is a full replacement pressure care relief system used as an aid in the prevention and treatment of pressure damage up to and including category 4.
The outer cover is made from bi-elastic PU/Polyester coating which is a vapour permeable material and has elastic properties, allowing for interface movement to help lower the risk of shear damage.
The "easy-to-use" fully digital pump has very clear weight settings and alternating cycle settings.

CPR valve
The CPR valve can be released when CPR is being performed. It quickly deflates the mattress giving a hard surface in order to carry out the procedure.
Welded Seams
Regular sewn seams are ideal for bacteria to grow in because of all the holes. Welded seams are melted or welded together using high frequency vibrations meaning there are no holes or gaps for bacteria to get into. This helps reduce the spreading of infection.
Fully Digital Pump
Static mode, inflates all of the cells in the mattress and keeps them consistently inflated. Alternating pressure, alternates the inflation and deflation between the cells in an A/B pattern.
Cable Tidy
The cable tidy runs down the long side of the mattress. This prevents wires trailing on the floor and getting damaged.
Rapid Repair Feature
Should a cell be damaged and need replacing, all of the cells have quick connectors to enable very simple replacement. The mattress comes with a spare cell to enable your team to immediately repair the mattress reducing the need to for costly engineer call outs. No costly downtime!

The System
The OSKA ALTO pressure care mattress is a replacement system which is designed to be placed directly onto the support surface of a nursing bed. It is designed to be used for nursing care at home or in a nursing facility environment. Application in regular bed types is possible, however, preference is given to a patient profile nursing bed.
The system consists of a control unit featuring a membrane pump and a bed overlay with 20 air cells arranged in a transverse manner. The entire cell unit is equipped with a bi-elastic PU protection cover.
Recommendations
OSKA ALTO, Series3-V4, alternating pressure system is recommended to be used for pressure ulcers up to and including category 4 (very high risk).
Capacity
OSKA Series3-V4 alternating pressure system is recommended for patient weight up to 180kg. Heavier patients are better accommodated with a more appropriate OSKA pressure system.
